fcitx-frontend-qt4 software package provides Flexible Input Method Framework - Qt4 IM Module frontend, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fcitx-frontend-qt4
fcitx-frontend-qt4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fcitx-frontend-qt4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fcitx-frontend-qt4 *
You will get with fcitx-frontend-qt4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
